There’s nudes, mauves, pinks, browns, reds, plums, corals and fun shades with also neutral, cool and warm undertones meaning there’s shades for every single skintone. The two shades which have a sheerer formula are Bull Chic and Alt which are a black and bright teal, and in my opinion are the kind of shades you’d want a sheerer finish from anyway.įor every shade I’ve included if it’s a brand new colour or a repeat, just to make it clear and I’m so impressed with the huge variation of shades. There’s nothing worse than a sheer lip pencil that you have to keep dragging over and over the lips, and 38/40 of the shades are fully opaque in one single swipe. Normally I’d only do one swipe like I do with lipsticks and eyeshadows, but as the liners are so fine I didn’t think one swipe would show the individual colours as well as four would.Īs you can see from the swatches, these lip liners are extremely intense with very high colour payoff which is exactly what you want from a lip liner.

As I said, they are sharpenable and I do prefer sharpenable lip liners as they tend to last longer than say retractable liners which can easily dry out. The packaging is very simple yet sleek with a matte white plastic pencil, and a colour coded lid and base to match the shade inside.
What I love about the ColourPop Lippie Pencils is that there are many lip liner shades that have a coordinating Lippie Stix shade designed to compliment it perfectly, but obviously you can use whichever pencils and lipsticks you want. If you’re new to the ColourPop Lippie Pencils, they’re basically long-wearing and high-intensity lip pencils that glide on easily and prevents feathering. I’d always recommend snapping up their launch sets quickly so you don’t miss out, but every single one of these fourty shades are available individually on the ColourPop website, and they launched alongside the exciting So Juicy Plumping Lip Gloss Collection which I reviewed the other week, here on my blog.
COLOR POP SWATCH FULL
When the ColourPop Lippie Pencil Collection relaunched, it was available in this incredible full collection set for $150 but whenever they launch these special sets, they always sell out almost immediately as they’re so popular. The ColourPop Lippie Pencil Collection are all sharpenable which I love as you get a decent amount of product (1g) in each liner and by sharpening them, you can achieve a really precise point which isn’t something you can do with retractable liners. The Lippie Pencils were one of the first products ColourPop launched, and they relaunched their lip liner collection with a total of 40 shades. Some of the shades are already existing within their range, but there are so many new and exciting shades and it’s crazy that they’re only $5/£3.83 each as they’re just as high quality as the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Pencils which are £16 each. The ColourPop Lippie Pencil lip liners are the best affordable lip liners I’ve ever tried, so I couldn’t be more excited to own the full ColourPop Lippie Pencil Collection.
